Big 12 presidents have been tripping over themselves in the last few weeks trying to come up with plans to expand the conference.
But if Wednesdayâ€™s results from National Signing Day are any indication, the conference has a much more pressing concern than merely expanding its borders.
The league has been an afterthought in recruiting in recent years, and it proved it again in 2016 with some disappointing results on the national list.
