DMN: TCU’s winners and losers at the NFL combine, from Trevone Boykin to Josh Doctson

The NFL draft combine is over, with six Horned Frogs participating this year. Let’s take a look at the winners and losers from the four-day event.
Winners
Josh Doctson. The Horned Frogs’ stud wide receiver did exactly what he needed to do this weekend. His 40-time was not expected to be spectacular, but he took care of business in a respectable 4.50 seconds. He shined in nearly every other test, from the vert jump to broad jump to both shuttle drills, being among the top performers in all four categories. He also showed off his freakish body control while running routes. Overall, the weekend was roundly considered a success for Doctson with many analysts stating the wide receiver moved himself up the draft boards. Some even went so far as to say Doctson secured himself a spot in the first round. …
