AMES, Ia. — The more Allen Lazard is asked to talk about himself, the less he has to say.
With the Iowa State offense in a serious slump, Lazard is emerging as a solitary, statistical bright spot.
The junior receiver from Urbandale leads the Big 12 and ranks 10th nationally with 120 yards per game on 13 catches this season.
Heading into Saturday’s 11 a.m. conference opener at Texas Christian, Lazard has a chance to become just the third player in school history to have three straight 100-yard receiving games.
