DMN: TCU football 2016 preview: Can the Frogs finally keep it all together for a CFP run?

Last year was an injury-prone, disappointing, frustrating season for the TCU Horned Frogs.

It ended in a 10-2 record and an Alamo Bowl win that will go down as one of the greatest comebacks in college football history.

This year, head coach Gary Patterson will look to keep the incredible wins, but skip the losses along the way, as TCU moves on from the Trevone Boykin era to a team that is full of nothing but solid players.

The quarterback battle has dominated headlines, with Foster Sawyer and Kenny Hill struggling to reach starter status. But the defense has made quietly impressive strides from their rough previous season, and outstanding players at the wide receiver position will ensure that this year will be yet another successful campaign for the purple and white.
