DMN: Jamie Dixon says he always dreamed of coming back to TCU and coaching

New TCU basketball head coach Jamie Dixon relived his childhood days starring in commercials and discussed trading moderate Pittsburgh summers for sweltering Texas heat in a video published on NBCDFW.com on Monday.
“It was always kind of a dream to come and work at your alma mater and coach the team,” Dixon said.
Dixon, who returned to Fort Worth to coach his alma mater in March, had built quite the resume at Pitt, where he coached for 13 years.
“There weren’t many other opportunities I would leave for,” Dixon said. “And this was the time, probably for our kids. They’re not quite in high school yet.”
