DMN: Breaking down TCU: Find out who has the Horned Frogs in the national title picture

TCU seems like one of the harder teams to project in 2016. Depending whom you ask, they’re anything from a middling Big 12 team to an outside national championship contender.

We’ve consulted a handful of national college football preview magazines to find out what the pundits say they expect of the Horned Frogs this season.

One of the biggest sticking points is whether what TCU has lost since last season outweighs what’s coming back. Gary Patterson’s team returns nearly all its defensive starters in addition to a few players who missed large stretches of 2015 with injuries.
