Never mind that TCU is unsettled at quarterback. Or that five other offensive starters must be replaced.
Or that sophomore running back Shaun Nixon will miss the season because of an injury, or that the roster features only seven seniors, or that the two-deep chart has many blank spots.
The Horned Frogs plan to contend for the league title, regardless of the holes that must be filled.
“We just need to reload,” linebacker Travin Howard said. “The new guys that are stepping in, I feel like they’re a gun that’s ready to fire.”
