Montgomery Advertiser: Auburn hoops to play at TCU in SEC/Big 12 Challenge

AUBURN – Auburn men’s basketball will travel to Fort Worth, Texas to play against Texas Christian as part of 10 games in the upcoming Southeastern Conference/Big 12 Challenge.
According to CBS college basketball insider Jon Rothstein, Auburn will play at the Ed & Rae Schollmaier Arena in the first year of Horned Frogs head coach Jamie Dixon. Dixon left Pittsburgh this offseason after leading the Panthers to 13 NCAA Tournament appearances in his 15 years with the program.
Auburn is coming off back-to-back losing seasons under Bruce Pearl but will feature one of the nation’s most dynamic freshman players in Mustapha Heron, the program’s first five-star prospect. …
