TCU Horned Frogs Players in the NFL Draft
Each year, the TCU Horned Frogs team does produce some talented stars. Some of the stars produced end up playing their trade in the NFL. In the past, players who have taken the NFL by storm such as Colin Jones, Tank Carder, Paul Dawson, Derrick Kindred and Joey Hunt among others all have TCU Horned Frogs roots. In the just-ended year, the TCU Horned Frogs also produced three talented players who impressed in their debut NFL season. Below, we share with you the three talented youngsters but before that, we just want to inform you that you can now place bets for TCU Horned Frogs or any other college football team from Division 1 Football Bowl Subdivision at NoviBet.
Joseph Noteboom (Los Angeles Rams)
After putting in many impressive performances for TCU Horned Frogs in the past few years, Joseph Noteboom managed to make the switch from college football to the NFL when he was drafted at the start of the year (2018) by the Los Angeles Rams. The 23-year-old joined the Rams as an offensive tackle. Joining a team which had massive ambitions, many thought that Noteboom would struggle to find any sort of game time. However, that was not the case as Joseph actually punched above his weight in the process managing to appear 16 times in the league (regular season). One can safely say that Joseph played his part in helping the Rams reach their first ever Super Bowl in recent times. Signed to a 4-year contract, Joseph in his first season in the NFL definitely showed that he has what it takes to survive and succeed at the highest level in football. Playing in a team that is showing massive ambition such as the Los Angeles Rams and he himself showing an eagerness to learn and develop, the sky certainly is the limit for Joseph Noteboom.
Matt Pryor (Philadelphia Eagles)
24-year-old Matt Pryor made his switch from college football to the NFL early last year when he was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles to the NFL. Playing as a guard for TCU Horned Frogs, Matt Pryor had shown great athleticism and promise, two qualities which persuaded the Eagles to sign him. Joining a team which had just reached its first Super Bowl in recent times, it was always going to be difficult for Matt to break into the first team. Though he failed to start any NFL matches last year, Matt worked hard in training and he can only get better competing with other world stars playing alongside him.
Travin Howard (Los Angeles Rams)
Travin Howard is another TCU Horned Frogs former player who joined the Los Angeles Rams last year. However, unlike Joseph Noteboom, the 22-year-old was not signed by the Rams first team. Travin plays for the reserve side but trains and plays with the first team during the offseason. The Rams signed Travin as a player for the future rather than to incorporate him into the first team straight away. Be that as it may, training and playing with professional footballers will no doubt help Travin to improve his game such that by the time he is called to the first team, he will be a complete player.
