FWST: TCU track & field gets three first-places at San Antonio event

TCU had three first-place finishes at the inaugural Ricardo Romo Invitational in San Antonio on Saturday.
Brianna McGhee won the 100-meter hurdles, with a wind-aided time of 13.29 seconds. Darrion Flowers won the 100 meters in 10.54, and Kirsten Johnston won the 3,000 in 10:09.52.
In other TCU sports:
Beach volleyball:Â The Horned Frogs (7-4) defeated Jacksonville 3-2 before losing 4-1 to host South Carolina in the Gamecock Invitational. The team of Molly Scheel and Ariah Palter went undefeated.
Equestrian:Â No. 6 TCU finished third in the Big 12 Championship, defeating No. 8 Kansas State 11-8.
