FWST: TCU gathering information about Virginia Tech coach Buzz Williams

OKLAHOMA CITY – An industry source confirmed Saturday that TCU administrators have been gathering information on Virginia Tech’s Buzz Williams, a native of Van Alstyne, in regard to the school’s search for its next men’s basketball coach.
The source was unsure if contact had been made regarding an interview, but that potential became more realistic after Virginia Tech fell to Brigham Young in Friday night’s second round of the NIT. Virginia Tech ended the season with a 20-15 mark in Williams’ second season at the school. …
