But not as much as the NCAA baseball selection committee’s decision not to reward the Cavaliers’ impressive regular season with a home regional this weekend.Despite winning 42 games, finishing fourth in the ACC, winning six straight conference series down the stretch and going 9-3 over its final 12 games, U.Va. was shipped to Forth Worth, Texas, to play in the regional hosted by No. 6 national seed TCU.The second-seeded Cavaliers (42-14) are scheduled to open play on Friday against third-seeded Dallas Baptist (40-19) at 4 p.m. at TCU’s Lupton Stadium. The host Horned Frogs (42-16) play Central Connecticut State (36-20) at 9 p.m.
