Horned Frogs’ starting forward J.D. Miller missed Saturday’s 61-60 loss to West Virginia with a groin injury and has yet to return to practice. But coach Jamie Dixon remains optimistic he can play Wednesday against Kansas State in a matchup of team’s with NCAA Tournament hopes. Miller and forward Karviar Shepherd (illness, foot) both missed Monday’s practice.
