MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Georgia Bulldogs held a two-hour morning practice at Rhodes College and then made the trip to the Memphis Hilton for the annual Liberty Bowl Luncheon WednesdayThe Bulldogs will face the TCU Horned Frogs on Friday at noon on ESPN. The teams arrived in Memphis Sunday. After Wednesday morning’s football practice and the team luncheon, there was a bowl press conference featuring each team’s offensive coordinator and selected players. The day was scheduled to end with a trip to the Civil Rights Museum and a team meal at Texas de Brazil.“I think our players have been awesome this year dealing with the ups and downs,” said Georgia offensive coordinator Jim Chaney. “They showed up and played their backsides off each and every day. We just didn’t do enough in some games, but I’m really proud of them for their effort this year.”
