The Exponent Telegram: Holgorsen always looks forward to TCU matchup

MORGANTOWN — West Virginia coach Dana Holgorsen is looking forward to a fun, tough week as TCU comes to town to test his unbeaten, No. 12 Mountaineers.
“TCU week is always a fun week,” Holgorsen said. “I think there’s a little extra incentive in this game just obviously based on the fact that we both came into the league at the same time five years ago.”
The Horned Frogs and Mountaineers also had trouble getting unwound in the Big 12, with the Horned Frogs eventually finding success while the Mountaineers just now appear to be hitting their stride.
“You look back at the games that have been played, typically very competitive, a lot of fun, got a lot of respect for each other,” Holgorsen said. “I think just based on the fact that we had a lot of success outside the Big 12, and then once we’ve been in the Big 12, we have had some pretty competitive games.”
