Beckley Register-Herald: Mountaineers will be looking to exploit TCU defense

Since entering the Big 12 Conference along with West Virginia, TCU has made a quick name for itself — especially on the defensive side of the ball.
However, the Horned Frogs defensive unit that will roll into Morgantown this Saturday has not reflected the typical success of years past.
West Virginia head coach Dana Holgorsen is not buying the numbers though, and still feels the Horned Frogs defense will be a handful.
“It is just because they’re not just totally choking people out, which is what they’ve done in the past,” Holgorsen said Tuesday during his weekly press conference. “They’ve had defenses in the past where they’ve choked people out. They’ve led the nation in defense. Two years ago when they came here, they led pretty much every defensive category that existed, so just because they’re not, that doesn’t mean that they’re not good.”
