FWST: TCU’s Patterson takes stock of what can still be done in 2016

The halfway point of the season arrives for TCU this week, and with it, a chance to recalibrate expectations.
No running through the Big 12 unbeaten.
No shot at the playoff.
No just picking up where 2014 and 2015 left off.
Instead, the Horned Frogs go to Kansas this week and look forward to a bye week after that. The idea on Saturday is basic — win a game, get closer to bowl eligibility and stay in the Big 12 title race.
