Ronnie Briscoe Jr Visits TCU-ISU game

Connally High School Senior Ronnie Briscoe Jr braved the heat to visit campus last Saturday as the Frogs battled Iowa State.  Listed as an “Athlete” the 5 foot 9 160 pound senior has strengths on both sides of the ball.  KillerFrogs caught up with Briscoe after his visit to hear his thoughts on TCU and the entire recruiting experience.

What is your impression of TCU?

I have always loved watching TCU play. I love their style of play, their up tempo offense. I am being recruited as a WR.

Who is your primary recruiter and what is your relationship with the staff?

My primary recruiter has been coach Paul Gonzales . He is the corner backs coach, but he recruits in our area.  I don’t necessarily have relationship with the whole coaching staff yet, but I plan on building the relationship through my recruitment.  I do not have a timeline for my commitment yet. I am also considering Baylor.

HUDL

A few takeaways from watching his film:

Highpoints the ball well

Gets upfield quickly after the catch

Frame will allow for more weight and could have adequate size for a slot in the Big 12.  Speed is not an issue.
