GoFrogs: Women’s Basketball Announces TV Coverage

FORT WORTH – The TCU women’s basketball program, in conjunction with its television partners, announced the majority of its 2016-17 television coverage schedule on Wednesday.
The Horned Frogs will have four national broadcasts as part of the Big 12 television package, including three at home. TCU will host Texas A&M (Dec. 8) on FS1, Baylor (Feb. 12) on ESPN2 and Kansas State (Feb. 18) on FOX Sports Net. In addition, the Frogs’ regular season finale at Texas Tech (Feb. 27) will also air on FOX Sports Net.
The Frogs will have seven other home games televised as part of TCU’s third-tier television package. Games against Butler (Nov. 30), Iowa State (Jan. 15), Kansas (Jan. 22) and Texas Tech (Feb. 8) will air on FOX Sports Southwest. Games against Oklahoma State (Jan. 4), Texas (Jan. 25) and Oklahoma (Feb. 25) will air on FOX Sports Plus.
In addition to the national and home television announcements, TCU’s games at Texas (Jan. 7), Baylor (Jan. 11) and Oklahoma State (Feb. 15) have already been added to the broadcast schedule by those teams. Additional televised games are still to be announced as they become available from other opponents.
Also, the entire Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship will be televised for the fourth consecutive year, beginning with the two first round contests on FOX College Sports. Quarterfinal games will air on FOX Sports Regional Networks for the 16th consecutive year, while the semifinals and final will make their fourth national appearance on FS1.
