Des Moines Register: Peterson: No change, for now, on Iowa State’s depth chart

AMES, Ia. — So it doesn’t sound like Matt Campbell plans to majorly shake up his Iowa State football depth chart, as he insinuated could happen after Saturday night’s loss against Iowa at Kinnick Stadium.

Unless stuff goes really bonkers this week in practice, Joel Lanning will be the starting quarterback for Saturday’s 11 a.m. game at Texas Christian. And unless something really nasty happens, Mike Warren will continue as the No. 1 tailback.

That’s a good thing, although Campbell hinted last weekend that Jacob Park could replace Lanning, and that David Montgomery could replace Warren.
