FWST: After ‘too many mistakes,’ TCU falls in two overtimes to Arkansas

Then it had just about won the game.
But a blocked field goal with 10 seconds left forced the Horned Frogs to play overtime, and in two extra periods, Arkansas scored two touchdowns for a 41-38 victory at Amon G. Carter Stadium with 48,091 watching, the stadium’s fifth-largest crowd.
The loss ended No. 15 TCU’s home winning streak at 14 games, marring a spirited comeback that produced three touchdowns in less than eight minutes of the fourth quarter to erase a 20-7 deficit.
“You feel like you gave one away,†coach Gary Patterson said. “They’re going to be upset when they watch the film.â€
