SEC Country: Arkansas expecting an improved TCU defense from season opener

The performance initially left many wondering if the Razorbacks would be in for a long day at No. 15 TCU (6:05 p.m.) this Saturday. But just hours after Arkansas’ win, the Horned Frogs struggled in their opener as well — especially defensively — in a 59-41 win over South Dakota State.
The Jackrabbits, a FCS program, amassed 461 total yards against the Horned Frogs and kept the game competitive until well into the fourth quarter.
“They did some different things, South Dakota State did,â€Â Arkansas quarterback Austin Allen said. “They threw the ball well, they ran the ball. I’m sure TCU will come out ready to play on Saturday. Big-time game on ESPN and they’ll be ready to go.
