DMN: It wasn’t all smiles, but first impression not bad for TCU quarterback

The start of Kenny Hill’s career as TCU’s quarterback got off to a mixed-bag start.
But after some early misfires – two interceptions that helped put the Horned Frogs in an early 10-point hole – the former Texas Aggie came on and put up some terrific numbers – none more important than the 59-41 victory over South Dakota State.
“I saw tweets out (before the game) that Kenny was going to fall on his face,” coach Gary Patterson said. “Well, he didn’t fall on his face. We got to get a lot better and we got to block better and we got to play a lot better defense, obviously.” …
