FWST: Patterson: QB Hill doesn’t have to ‘win the world’ in TCU debut

Quarterback Kenny Hill shouldn’t try to “win the world†when he makes his starting debut for TCU on Saturday, coach Gary Patterson said.
“Just run the offense. Let the offense work for you,†Patterson said Monday, speaking to reporters during the weekly Big 12 coaches conference call. “And if you have to use your feet or other things to make things happen, then do so.â€
Hill earned the starting quarterback job in fall camp over Foster Sawyer. Hill started eight games at Texas A&M in 2014, throwing for a school debut-record 511 yards against South Carolina.
