FWST: Seahawks backup QB Trevone Boykin flashes TCU skills against Cowboys

SEATTLE – Trevone Boykin went undrafted despite a stellar college career at TCU, but he’s making his mark with the Seattle Seahawks.
Boykin is the frontrunner to be the Seahawks’ backup quarterback behind Russell Wilson this season, and furthered his case against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday night.
Boykin scrambled for 16-yard touchdown near the end of the third quarter, darting to the edge and outrunning every defender to the pylon.
That play earned him a game ball and a vote of confidence by Seattle coach Pete Carroll.
