Today’s Pigskin: Redskins’ Josh Doctson could miss ‘another week or two’
According to a report from John Keim of ESPN on Sunday afternoon, Washington Redskins’ wide receiver Josh Doctson could miss at least another “week or two†of action.
The rookie pass catcher has continued to battle a lingering Achilles injury that has hindered the up-and-comer since all the way back on May 25. As a result, Doctson was then placed on the Redskins’ physically unable to perform list prior to the start of training camp.
However, per Keim’s Sunday report, the Redskins do believe that the left foot is improving while there is still hope that he could be activated for the franchise’s regular season-opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers on September 12.
