Today’s Knuckleball: White Sox OF Jason Coats hits first MLB home run

Chicago White Sox outfielder Jason Coats hit his first Major League home run on Saturday night at Marlins Park off Miami starter Adam Conley.

Coats made his major league debut back on June 4 on this season. It took until his 27th at-bat for him to connect with a long ball in the big leagues. In his sparse playing time on the season for Chicago, he’s gone just 4-for-27, having played both corner outfield spots and DH’ing.
