SECCountry: TCU OC: Kenny Hill wasn’t helped by environment at Texas A&M
Former Texas A&M QB Kenny Hill has remained fairly quiet since he left the school. One of his current coaches, however, had something to say about Hill’s time with the Aggies.
In a feature on how the current TCU quarterback has turned his life around, Sports On Earth’s David Ubben asked Hill’s current coaches about the quarterback’s departure from College Station. TCU co-offensive coordinator Doug Meacham said the environment at Texas A&M wasn’t good for Hill.
“It’s kind of unfair,†Meacham said. “You’re a young kid, you roll into a school where the Heisman Trophy winner is a guy that misses meetings and does whatever he wants to, and in your mind, you think, ‘Well, that’s just how you’re supposed to do it.’ So, I don’t think that helped him a whole lot.â€
