Today’s Knuckleball: Tyler Alexander should be on everyone’s radar

Some pitchers are known as power pitchers. They are massive specimens who seemingly are armed with actual cannons on their shoulders and fire untouchable heat at the batter. Other pitchers are diminutive, standing under 6-foot, and seemingly fool batters and scouts alike with a full arsenal of unexpected stuff.

And then there is Tyler Alexander.

Alexander is the Detroit Tigers left-handed pitching prospect that stands at a pretty average pitcher’s height of 6-foot-2, while weighing 200 pounds. Currently pitching for the Lakeland Flying Tigers in the Florida State League, Alexander has proven to be about as stingy as they come.
