247 Sports: Four-star DB Atanza Vongor talks TCU offer
TCU extended an offer to one of the top defensive back prospects in the Lone Star state on Saturday as they offered South Grand Prairie 2018 prospect Atanza Vongor.
The 6-foot-1, 192-pounder is currently rated as the No. 18 safety prospect in the nation according to the 247Sports Composite. He is rated as the No. 24 overall player in Texas.
Vongor has already picked up offers from Alabama, Baylor, Texas, Clemson, Georgia, Iowa and Texas A&M among others.
The big-time defensive back visited TCU on Saturday and picked up the offer following his visit. For the DFW prospect, TCU has been a team he’s watched closely for several years.
