WFAA: A kidney for a friend? No problem for two TCU alums
FORT WORTH — Friendship comes in all shapes and sizes.
On Wednesday, it will transcend a point that two Texas Christian University alums never quite expected.
Graham McMillan will donate one of his kidneys to Danny Kolzow, who’s battling kidney disease.
“In a very physical sense, I think Danny and I will be connected spiritually for the rest of our lives no matter what,” says McMillan.
In February, Kolzow was told it wouldn’t’ be long before he would need a transplant because of his Alport syndrome.
