247 Sports: Browning building strong relationship with TCU
TCU has built a strong 2017 class thus far but there’s still a few remaining pieces to finish it out yet another impressive class. Of those remaining pieces the Frogs hope to land is Kennedale, TX five star linebacker Baron Browning.
The nation’s No. 10 overall player for the 2017 class is obviously on the “want list†of many programs; Alabama, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Texas and TCU are just a few.
Browning got to take a little break from recruiting last week as he traveled to Oregon to participate in The Opening, which features top prospects from around the country. Browning says he learned plenty from the week-long event.
“It was great to go up there and compete against other top guys from around the nation,†he said. “It’s one of those tests to see where you’re at and all the hard work you’ve been putting in and what you need to go back and work on. I really soaked up as much as I can.â€
