Chicago Cubs ace Jake Arrieta may need to invest in a larger trophy case at his house if he keeps up this pace.
The day after being in San Diego as an All-Star, the former Plano East and TCU hurler was honored at the ESPY Awards as 2016’s Best Breakthrough Athlete.
The reigning NL Cy Young Award winner beat out the Minnesota Timberwolves’ Karl-Anthony Towns, 16-year-old snowboarder Chloe Kim, and UFC superstar Conor McGregor.
