TCU congratulated Coastal Carolina with a full-page ad in Wednesday’s special section of The Sun News of Myrtle Beach, S.C., commemorating the Chanticleers’ first College World Series championship.
Coastal Carolina eliminated TCU in the semifinals after the Horned Frogs started the CWS with victories over Texas Tech and Coastal Carolina.
The Chanticleers defeated Arizona in three games for the title.
