OMAHA, Neb. - TCU is in full control of its destiny Friday night as it needs just one win to advance to the CWS Championship series. Friday night’s game rematch against Coastal Carolina is set for 7 p.m. on ESPN.

TCU improved to 2-0 in the College World Series with a 6-1 victory over Coastal Carolina on Tuesday night. The Horned Frogs received a dominating performance from Ryan Burnett, who retired all 10 batters he faced to notch his first career save. Offensively, the Frogs took advantage of a pair of Coastal Carolina errors to score three unearned run. Luken Baker started the scoring with his 11th home run of the season in the second.

Coastal Carolina bounced back with a 7-5 victory over No.3-seeded Texas Tech on Thursday to move to 2-1 in the College World Series. The Chanticleers were opportunistic, scoring six unearned runs on three Texas Tech errors. David Parrett notched three RBIs on two hits in the game.
