Omaha World-Herald: Great start for Big 12 teams at this year’s CWS

The Big 12 had just three representatives in the NCAA tournament. But all three made it to Omaha. And all three have played well here.

Oklahoma State and TCU moved into the driver’s seat within their respective four-team pods — winning their first two games, earning a couple days off and now needing just one more victory to advance to the CWS finals.

Of the last 10 teams to start 2-0 at the CWS, nine have advanced to the championship series.

So there’s a good chance the Big 12 will have a team (maybe two) competing for the national title next week.
