KETV: TCU baseball team brings smiles to patients at Children’s Hospital and Medical Center
OMAHA, Neb. —The Texas Christian University Horned Frogs, fresh off a dramatic win over Texas Tech in the opening round of the College World Series, spent Monday morning bringing smiles to the faces of patients at Children’s Hospital and Medical Center.
“Well, they’re really cute,” said Annika Vohls, 16, laughing.

Vohls is a teenage softball player battling leukemia. She said her love of sports gave her a common ground with the players, but as her mom showed, a person doesn’t need to be a sports fan to appreciate what the young men were doing Monday.
