NotablesTCU improved to 7-6 in College World Series games and 4-0 in openers. Overall, the Horned Frogs are 44-32 all-time in NCAA postseason games. They have never started 2-0 in a CWS.
TCU hit the first two home runs of the 2016 College World Series and has homered in 40 games this season. The Frogs are 34-6 when they homer, 11-0 when they hit multiple homers and 10-0 when Luken Baker homers.
