Bryan-College Station Eagle: Hey, Pennington was a Frog too!

Walker Pennington leaned against the netting by the dugout watching how the masses had surrounded teammate Boomer White hoping for any nugget concerning White and his days and ties with TCU.

Where’s all the love for Pennington? He was a Horned Frog for a season and attended TCU for three semesters.

Pennington understands and maybe even feels a little sorry for White, who has answered questions far and wide since the Aggies sat in the Diamond Club watching the selection show and realized they were paired with TCU.

“He’s a legend there and I think he’s turned into a legend here,” Pennington said. “I’ve seen some stuff on social media already that they are not too happy to see him again. They use to love him but some of the same people that used to love him have already turned their back on him.
