FWST: TCU, Schlossnagle agree on contract extension, Del Conte says

COLLEGE STATION – TCU baseball coach Jim Schlossnagle, whose team is playing in its sixth Super Regional series in eight seasons, has agreed in principal to a contract extension, athletic director Chris Del Conte said.
“We put forth a plan that we agreed on and said, ‘OK, let’s go take care of A&M, and we’ll finalize the details when you get back,†Del Conte said.
Kirk Bohls of the Austin American-Statesman tweeted on Thursday that Schlossnagle is out of the running for the open position at Texas because TCU was ready to extend his contract.
