GoFrogs: Super regional set
FORT WORTH – The NCAA has announced the Super Regional schedule for this upcoming weekend. The TCU and Texas A&M Super Regional will run Friday-Sunday. All three games will begin at 8 p.m. (CT) and be televised on the ESPN family of networks.
TCU swept its way through the Fort Worth Regional with wins over Oral Roberts, Gonzaga and Arizona State. The Horned Frogs will be playing in their sixth Super Regional in the last eight years, making them one of only four programs in the NCAA to accomplish that feat. This season marks TCU’s third straight Super Regional appearance.
The pairing with Texas A&M is a rematch from last year’s Super Regional that was played in Fort Worth. TCU won the series 2-1 in dramatic fashion with a walk-off victory in 16 innings to advance to its third College World Series in program history.
