ESPN: Chauncey Collins to pursue professional basketball career

Former TCU star Chauncey Collins, who led the Horned Frogs in scoring last season, told ESPN on Monday that he will officially pursue a professional basketball career after signing with Arête Sports Agency.
Last week, Collins announced his decision to leave TCU after the school released a statement that said the sophomore had decided to turn pro to support his family.
But Collins told ESPN that he was “weighing my options” for the future, which included a possible transfer to another school. After discussions with his family over the weekend, however, Collins decided a pro career made the most sense.
“[I will] pursue my professional career,” he said. “Just after talking with my family, I feel as if it’s best.” …
