Texas A&M played no favorites in defeating all three visiting teams at the College Station Regional to reach its seventh Super Regional.

The Aggies (48-14) defeated No. 2 seed Minnesota (36-22) 8-2 late Sunday night to secure a home series with TCU, winner of the Fort Worth Regional.

“I’m excited to get to go to war with my brothers and get to Omaha,” said Boomer White, who two years earlier went to the College World Series as a member of TCU. “It’s a chance to win a weekend series like we’ve done almost all year.”

The Aggies beat No. 4 seed Binghamton 4-2 on Friday and No. 3 seed Wake Forest, 22-2, in a game that started on Saturday and finished at 1 a.m. Sunday.

No. 1 ranked A&M, the No. 4 national seed, reached the Super Regionals in back-to-back years for the first time since 2007-08. A&M fell short of advancing to the College World Series last season, losing to TCU in Fort Worth in the 16th inning of the deciding game. …
