FWST: Former Cowboys QB Jon Kitna’s son will walk on at TCU

Suddenly TCU might have an interesting quarterback battle on its hands when fall camp arrives in three months.

Jon Kitna was a respected backup for the Dallas Cowboys for four seasons at the tail end of his career. His son, Jordan, will look to make a bigger impact for the Horned Frogs over the next four years.

The younger Kitna has decided not to attend his first choice, Michigan State, and will instead play for coach Gary Patterson as a preferred walk on, the Waxahachie senior tweeted Tuesday morning. …
