GoFrogs: TCU Women’s Basketball Coach Pebley to be WNBA-TV Analyst

FORT WORTH, Texas — TCU head women’s basketball coach Raegan Pebley will serve as a color analyst on TV telecasts this season for the WNBA’s Dallas Wings.

Pebley will make her debut with veteran play-by-play voice Ron Thulin on Saturday’s 7:30 p.m. Wings’ home game versus the San Antonio Stars on FOX Sports Net and NBA TV.

“We are so excited about the Wings coming to DFW,” Pebley said. “The addition of the WNBA to the Metroplex is something we want to embrace and support in any way possible.

“It’s so special to be part of the first and now the 20th year of the WNBA. The WNBA has inspired and validated a lot of little girls’ dreams, mine included.”

Pebley was a third-round pick of the Utah Starzz in the inaugural 1997 WNBA Draft. She also played with the Cleveland Rockers.

Pebley has led the Horned Frogs to postseason appearances in each of her two years at TCU. This year’s recruiting class, highlighted by McDonald’s All-American Amber Ramirez, is ranked seventh nationally by ProspectsNation.com.
