FORT WORTH – TCU will close out the regular season with a three-game Big 12 series against Kansas State starting Thursday night at 6:30.

TCU NOTABLES
• TCU put together an efficient 3-2 win over SFA on Tuesday to make it two wins in a row.
• TCU sits at No. 20 in the latest RPI.
• TCU has homered in 31 games. The Horned Frogs are one of three Big 12 schools with 40 home runs.
• TCU has scored at least two runs in 86 innings this season.
• TCU is the lone school in the Big 12 hitting over .300 at .303. Its 3.26 ERA is second in the Big 12.

LIMITING THE LOSSES
On Sunday, TCU prevented its first three-game losing streak since dropping three in a row from Feb. 25-March 1, 2014. The two-game losing streak was just TCU’s third of the season and just its eighth since that three game losing streak.

GOING OUT WITH A BANG Dane Steinhagen is riding a significant streak of having reached base in 13 straight games. He boasts a .415 on-base percentage thanks to tallying 16 hits and five walks. He’s hit safely in 12 of the 13 games.

Steinhagen has put together a career-year in his final collegiate campaign. He’s already established career highs in doubles (15), home runs (7) and RBIs (43).

Steinhagen has homered in back-to-back games and is tied for the team lead with 43 RBIs.

#LUPTONMAGIC
TCU closes out its regular season with a four game homestand. Lupton Stadium has seen the Horned Frogs post 18 wins in 25 games. Over the last 2-plus seasons, TCU is a combined 78-19 at Lupton Stadium.

Elliott Barzilli’s .402 average at home paces a group that is hitting .301 as a team. He has five of the squads 18 home runs. Luken Bakerhas a team-high 25 RBIs.

On the mound, the staff boasts a 2.99 ERA and is holding opponents to a .242 batting average. Dalton Horton and Brian Howard have combined to go 9-0 at home.
