UPI: Washington Redskins sign WR Josh Doctson, five other draft picks
First-rounder Josh Doctson, the No. 22 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, signed a four-year deal with the Washington Redskins.
Doctson was the top player available when the Redskins were on the clock, general manager Scot McCloughan said April 28 after the pick was made.
“Now you guys understand what I preach about: I’m sure none of you thought we’d pick a receiver, because we’ve got depth,” McCloughan said. “But that was the best football player on the board.” …
