FWST: TCU basketball adds highest-ranked player ever, 4-star guard

New basketball coach Jamie Dixon has brought in his first player at TCU, four-star point guard ranked No. 34 by ESPN.
The school announced the signing of 6-foot-2 Jaylen Fisher from Arlington, Tenn., on Thursday. He is rated the second-best player in Tennessee by 247Sports and ESPN and 55th nationally by Rivals.
In its announcement, TCU said Fisher is the highest-ranked player ever to sign with the Horned Frogs.
Fisher had committed to UNLV, but opted for TCU after a campus visit last week. In social media, he said he opted for Fort Worth because of his relationship with former UNLV assistant coach Ryan Miller, hired by TCU in April. …
