Stillwater News-Press: All knotted up: TCU clobbers OSU, ties weekend series

What started out a bit sloppy only briefly turned around before it turned ugly Saturday at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.
Oklahoma State (24-14, 8-6) gave up one run in the first on just one hit and two walks before rallying two innings later. However, TCU (28-9, 10-4) dominated the rest of the Game 2 of the weekend series with the Cowboys.
TCU scored two runs in three of four innings before adding more later in a 11-6 romp of the Cowboys. Saturday’s win by the Horned Frogs tied the series at 1-1 after OSU won 9-0 Friday night.
“Every game is a different existence,†OSU coach Josh Holliday said. “Last night’s game ended on the final out and today’s started on the first one. Credit to TCU, they swung the bats really good today. They have one of the better offenses around and they put that on display. We probably weren’t as sharp as we would have liked to have been in many ways.†…
