Stillwater News-Press: Hatch, Oklahoma State dominate No. 4 Horned Frogs

As Ryan Merrill walked back to the TCU dugout after falling victim to his team’s third pickoff in three innings, one thing crossed his mind.
Thomas Hatch must have eyes in the back of his head.
Hatch, a sophomore right-hander from Tulsa, was omniscient in Oklahoma State’s 9-0 victory against TCU on Friday night in Allie P. Reynolds Stadium. Hatch threw 121 pitches in the shutout, but he said he didn’t think as the game progressed that pitching coach Rob Walton would bring him out.
“Rob says to us all the time, ‘Train for 120 pitches,’†Hatch said. “… I think I was going to finish the game, but I don’t know, I can’t get inside (Walton’s) head.†…
